LED spacers are insulated, cylindrical body parts that serve as secure, weatherproof mounting bases for LEDs. LED standoffs are helpful in scenarios where they can shield the leads of the LEDs during board construction and then support and space the LEDs apart from your chassis at the appropriate distance.
